L’amour de Dieu est-il inconditionnel ?
“Comment savez-vous que l’amour de Dieu est inconditionnel ? L’expression ‘amour inconditionnel’ n’est pas dans la Bible !”

Avez-vous déjà entendu cette question ? C’est une question juste qui touche au cœur du message de la grâce. La grâce dit que Dieu nous aime sans conditions, mais lisez la Bible et vous constaterez que l’amour de Dieu est parfois assorti de conditions.

Malgré les passages qui semblent dire le contraire (je les aborderai dans les prochains articles), je suis convaincu à 100% que Dieu nous aime inconditionnellement. Vous aussi, vous devez être convaincu à 100 %. Laissez-moi donc vous donner sept raisons pour conclure que Dieu vous aime inconditionnellement :

(1) L’amour, par définition, est inconditionnel
Dieu est amour (agape). (1 Jn 4:16)

Vous connaissez probablement les différents mots pour désigner l’amour dans la langue grecque. Vous savez peut-être même que l’amour agapé désigne un amour “inconditionnel, sacrificiel et actif”. Mais saviez-vous que l’amour agapé est unique à Dieu ? Il ne s’agit pas d’une forme humaine d’amour.

Si votre expérience de l’amour se limite à ce que vous avez reçu des gens, il y a de fortes chances que vous ayez rencontré un amour fragile, accompagné d’attentes et de bagages. L’amour de Dieu n’est pas comme cela. Son amour est différent de tout ce que l’on trouve dans ce monde.

(2) Jésus démontre un amour inconditionnel
Mais Dieu démontre son propre amour (agapè) pour nous en ceci : Alors que nous étions encore pécheurs, le Christ est mort pour nous. (Rom 5:8)

Si vous voulez savoir à quoi ressemble l’amour agapé, pensez à Jésus. ” Car Dieu a tellement agapé le monde qu’il a donné son Fils unique… ” (Jn 3, 16). Nous ne méritions pas d’être sauvés, mais il est quand même venu pour nous. Le fait qu’il soit mort pour nous montre que Dieu nous aime plus qu’il n’aime sa propre vie. Nous n’avions rien fait pour l’attirer. Nous ne nous étions même pas repentis. Pourtant, notre Créateur s’est accroché à la croix sur laquelle nous l’avons mis et nous a pardonné alors que nous l’avions tué.

La croix est la plus grande démonstration d’amour inconditionnel que le monde ait jamais connue.

(3) L’amour de Dieu est incommensurable
Et je prie pour que, enracinés et affermis dans l’amour, vous ayez la force, avec tous les saints, de saisir combien est vaste, long, haut et profond l’amour (agapé) du Christ, et de connaître cet amour (agapé) qui surpasse toute connaissance… (Ep 3, 17-19)

Lorsque Paul a écrit ces mots, il savait qu’il nous demandait de faire l’impossible. Vous ne pouvez pas saisir les dimensions extravagantes de l’amour du Christ – elles sont insaisissables ! Néanmoins, Paul nous encourageait à “éprouver sa longueur ! Sondez les profondeurs ! Élevez-vous vers les hauteurs”, comme le dit Eugene Petersen, parce que si vous aviez ne serait-ce qu’un petit aperçu de l’amour qu’il vous porte, vous seriez anéantis. L’égoïsme et l’autosatisfaction se faneraient. Vous considéreriez volontiers vos réalisations et vos qualifications comme des déchets comparés au privilège impressionnant et à la grandeur surpassée de la connaissance de Jésus-Christ votre Seigneur.

(4) L’amour de Dieu ne garde aucune trace des fautes commises.
L’amour (agapè) n’est pas égoïste, il n’est pas susceptible, il n’est pas irritable, il n’est pas rancunier, il ne tient pas compte du mal qui lui est fait… (1 Cor 13:5, AMP).

Jésus connaissait le nom de chaque soldat qui le battait, de chaque personne qui se moquait de lui, et de chaque pharisien qui le prenait pour le diable. Pourtant, il est quand même allé à la croix pour qu’ils puissent être réconciliés avec Dieu. C’est comme si Dieu ne comptait pas leurs péchés contre eux ! Il ne les comptait pas, et il ne compte pas non plus les vôtres (2 Cor 5:19).

Sur la croix, la justice a rencontré l’amour inconditionnel et votre paix avec Dieu a été assurée. Vos transgressions ont été effacées comme si vous ne les aviez jamais commises (Is 43,25). Parce que Dieu le Fils a versé son sang pour vous, Dieu le Père et Dieu le Saint-Esprit ont déclaré qu’ils ne se souviendraient plus de vos péchés (Hé 8,12 ; 10,17).

(5) L’amour de Dieu perdure
L’amour résiste à tout ce qui se présente, il est toujours prêt à croire au meilleur de chaque personne, ses espoirs sont inaltérables en toutes circonstances, et il endure tout. L’amour n’échoue jamais [il ne s’éteint pas, ne devient pas obsolète et ne prend pas fin]. (1 Cor 13:5-8, AMP)

Vous pouvez prendre l’amour de Dieu et le clouer sur une croix et il vous aimera toujours suffisamment pour revenir d’entre les morts et vous traquer juste pour vous dire qu’il vous a pardonné et qu’il vous aime et veut être avec vous pour toujours. Qui fait ça ? Seulement Dieu.

(6) L’amour de Dieu est éternel
Le Seigneur nous est apparu dans le passé, disant : “Je vous ai aimés d’un amour éternel, je vous ai attirés par la bonté” (Jérémie 31:3). (Jérémie 31:3)

Voilà une citation à mettre sur votre mur ! Le mot hébreu hesed, qui désigne l’amour inébranlable, la générosité chaleureuse et le dévouement, et qui est généralement traduit par “amour bienveillant”, apparaît 250 fois dans l’Ancien Testament. Comme l’explique Malcolm Smith, ce mot rend compte du cœur de Dieu à notre égard et se révèle formellement dans l’alliance qu’il a conclue avec nous par l’intermédiaire de notre représentant Jésus. Ainsi, même s’il était possible que Dieu change d’avis et cesse de vous aimer, il serait tenu par l’alliance de continuer à vous aimer aussi longtemps que Jésus vivra.

Et Jésus ne mourra jamais.

(7) Dieu aime ceux qui ne sont pas aimés
Si vous n’êtes toujours pas convaincu qu’il vous aime d’un amour inconditionnel, considérez alors ceux qu’il a aimés dans la Bible. Il a aimé un adultère et un meurtrier appelé David. Il a poursuivi un pharisien persécuteur nommé Saul. Lorsqu’il a voulu montrer son amour pour Israël, il a dit au prophète Osée d’épouser et d’aimer une femme infidèle.

Lorsqu’il a marché sur la terre sous forme humaine, il a acquis la réputation d’être l’ami des pécheurs et a raconté des histoires de prodigues qui étaient aimés alors qu’ils n’avaient rien fait pour mériter cet amour. Il a aimé les lépreux et les païens, les collecteurs d’impôts voleurs et les Samaritains puants. À ce stade, vous devriez vraiment vous arrêter et vous demander pourquoi ?

Pourquoi Dieu nous aime-t-il ?
L’amour de Dieu pour nous n’a rien à voir avec notre beauté ou notre comportement. Il nous aime parce qu’il est notre Père, et il fera tout ce qu’il faut pour se réconcilier avec ses enfants.

La prochaine fois que quelqu’un demandera : “L’amour de Dieu est-il inconditionnel ?”, montrez-lui la croix et répondez par un oui catégorique ! Si Jésus ne nous aimait pas inconditionnellement, il ne serait pas mort pour nous et il n’y aurait pas de nouvelle alliance fondée sur sa grâce. Mais il le fait et il l’a fait, et il y en a une.

C’est la bonne nouvelle que le monde entier doit entendre.

“How do you know God’s love is unconditional? The phrase ‘unconditional love’ is not in the Bible!”

Ever heard this? It’s a fair question that cuts to the heart of the grace message. Grace says that God loves us with no strings attached but read the Bible and you will find that sometimes there are strings attached to the love of God.

Despite those passages that seem to say otherwise (I will address them in coming articles) I am 100% convinced that God loves us unconditionally. You need to be 100% convinced too. So let me give you seven reasons for concluding that God loves you unconditionally:

(1) Love, by definition, is unconditional

God is love (agape). (1 Jn 4:16)

You probably know about the different words for love in the Greek language. You might even know that agape-love refers to “unconditional, self-sacrificing, and active” love. But did you know that agape love is unique to God? It is not a human form of love.

If your experience of love is limited to what you have received from people, chances are you have encountered frail love that comes with expectations and baggage. God’s love is not like this. His love is unlike anything found in this world.

(2) Jesus demonstrates unconditional love

But God demonstrates his own (agape) love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Rom 5:8)

If you want to know what agape love looks like, consider Jesus. “For God so agapao-ed the world, that he gave his only Son…” (Jn 3:16). We did not deserve to be saved, yet he came for us regardless. That he died for us shows us that God loves us more than he loves his own life. We had done nothing to attract him. We had not even repented. Yet our Creator hung on the cross that we put him on and forgave us as we killed him.

The cross is the single greatest demonstration of unconditional love the world has ever known.

(3) God’s love is immeasurable

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the (agape) love of Christ, and to know this (agape) love that surpasses knowledge… (Eph 3:17-19)

When Paul wrote these words he knew that he was asking us to do the impossible. You cannot grasp the extravagant dimensions of Christ’s love – they are ungraspable! Nevertheless Paul encouraged us to “Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights!” as Eugene Petersen says, because if you had even the smallest glimpse of how much he loves you, you would be undone. Selfishness and self righteousness would wither. Your accomplishments and qualifications you would cheerfully count as rubbish compared to the awesome privilege and surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus your Lord.

(4) God’s love keeps no record of wrongs

(Agape-) love is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it… (1 Cor 13:5, AMP)

Jesus knew the name of every soldier who beat him, every person who mocked him, and every Pharisee who thought he was the devil. Yet he still went to the cross so that they might be reconciled to God. It was as if God was not counting their sins against them! He wasn’t, and neither is he counting yours (2 Cor 5:19).

On the cross, justice had a meeting with unconditional love and your peace with God was secured. Your transgressions have been blotted out as if you’d never done them (Is 43:25). Because God the Son bled for you, both God the Father and God the Holy Spirit have gone on record saying they will remember your sins no more (Heb 8:12, 10:17).

(5) God’s love endures

Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything. Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]. (1 Cor 13:5-8, AMP)

You can take the love of God and nail it to a cross and he will still love you enough to come back from the dead and hunt you down just to tell you that he’s forgiven you and loves you and wants to be with you forever. Who does that?! Only God.

(6) God’s love is everlasting

The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: ‘I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.’ (Jer 31:3)

Now there’s a quote to put on your wall! The Hebrew word hesed, which denotes steadfast love, warm-hearted generosity, and devotion, and which is usually translated as loving-kindness, appears 250 times in the Old Testament. As Malcolm Smith explains, this word captures God’s heart towards us and is revealed formally in the covenant he made with us through our representative Jesus. So even if it were possible for God to have a change of heart and stop loving you, he would be bound by covenant to continue loving you for as long Jesus lives.

And Jesus will never die.

(7) God loves the unlovely

If you’re still not convinced that he loves you with an unconditional love, then consider those he loved in the Bible. He loved an adulterer and murderer called David. He pursued a persecuting Pharisee named Saul. When he wanted to portray his love for Israel he told the prophet Hosea to marry and love an unfaithful woman.

When he walked the earth in human form he developed a reputation as a friend of sinners and told stories about prodigals who were loved even though they had done nothing deserving of love. He loved lepers and Gentiles, thieving tax-collectors and stinkin’ Samaritans. At this point you really should stop and ask yourself why?

Why does God love us?

God’s love for us has nothing to do with our loveliness or our behavior. He loves us because he is our Father, and he will do whatever it takes to be reconciled to his children.

The next time someone asks, “Is God’s love unconditional?” point them to the cross and answer with an emphatic yes! If Jesus did not love us unconditionally, he would not have died for us and there would be no new covenant based on his grace. But he does and he did and there is.

{Puedo ver por qué tanta gente en tiempos de opresión se vuelve alcohólica o drogadicta. Legal o ilegal no importa. Pero la alegría del vino de Dios es mucho mejor ya que no deja resaca. Edifica tu cuerpo, no lo destruye. Te mantiene en el camino correcto, no te lleva a decisiones tontas. Sin embargo, con moderación, Dios nunca condenó el vino. Pero Él ha comparado su Alegría con él. ¿Por qué? Él sabía que tenía que romper nuestro entendimiento con algo que pudiéramos entender, supongo}

Esta fue una parábola de Jotam diciendo que eligieron un rey que no era un buen rey. Y comparó al rey con las zarzas. Este rey en Siquem era un asesino malvado e idólatra. Abimelec. Pero Israel tuvo problemas para elegir lo mejor para ellos. Incluso rechazaron al Rey Jesús que era la vid.

En la parábola de Joram fue comparado con las zarzas pero los árboles pidieron un rey. Los tres árboles o plantas utilizados se refieren a Israel: la aceituna, con su rico aceite, la higuera, con su dulzura, y la vid, que proporciona vino y alegría. Jesús fue la vid de la que se derramó la alegría del Espíritu Santo: ¡un vino santo!

Fíjate que Dios compara a menudo el sentimiento de fiesta provocado en los hombres por el vino con la alegría mejor y más permanente que brota de la Vid que es Jesús y su espíritu. Él proporcionó el vino nuevo del Espíritu. Su vino vino sólo después de que ÉL fue aplastado. Sólo después de que Él bebiera las heces del pecado por nosotros y fuera aplastado en la cruz. Sólo después de este proceso pudo ser derramado el Gozo del Espíritu Santo.

Salmo 9:2

Me alegraré y me regocijaré en ti; cantaré alabanzas a tu nombre, oh Altísimo.

Aquí alegre es “samah” y regocijarse aquí es “alats” Samah significa estar alegre, feliz y regocijarse. Alats significa exultar, es decir, sentir o mostrar felicidad triunfante o júbilo.

Y esto viene de alabar a Dios.

Salmo 9:1

[[Al músico principal en Muthlabben, Salmo de David]] Te alabaré, oh Jehová, con todo mi corazón; Mostraré todas tus maravillas.

“Te alabaré” Es una decisión voluntaria de “alabar” y es un verbo activo.  La palabra alabanza es Yada en hebreo ידה y significa elevar la alabanza, como cuando se levantan las manos para cantar a Dios. Viene de la palabra para mano “yad” y un derivado de alabanza “yada” es Yehuda o Judea que significa alabanza. Los que alaban a Dios son los verdaderos judíos o Judea. Muchas veces los judíos no lo hacían.

En realidad, este Salmo de David comienza con “confesión”: ¡Él confesó que Dios es grande! ÉL tenía que confesar o estar de acuerdo con Dios para recibir el Gozo. “Te confesaré (la palabra en la Septuaginta griega es homologeo la misma que se usa aquí:

Rom 10:9

Que si confiesas (homologeo) con tu boca al Señor Jesús, y crees en tu corazón que Dios lo levantó de entre los muertos, serás salvo.

Significa decir que estás de acuerdo con Dios. ¡Dios es grande!

Toda salvación en tiempo de angustia comienza con la humildad y el clamor. ¡Pero tienes que darlo y clamar!

“Señor sálvame que me estoy hundiendo” ¡El amor nunca fallará!

Rom 10:13

Porque todo el que invoque el nombre del Señor se salvará.

Observe que David tuvo que creer y por lo tanto decidir “alabar” o “confesar a Dios”, alegrarse, regocijarse “alabaré”, me alegraré, me regocijaré y finalmente “cantaré alabanzas”

Todos son actos de la voluntad, y para vencer al enemigo de la depresión de las cosas tristes que nos hacen nuestros enemigos debemos alabar a Dios aunque no tengamos ganas.

David estaba en batallas físicas pero nosotros estamos en batallas espirituales.

Es caminar no por la vista sino por la fe que puede mover las montañas. Tocaré música y cantaré mi tristeza. Cuando cante sobre tus grandes y maravillosas obras. Esta es la clave de la alegría y el gozo cuando no se ve nada que sea muy feliz. O eso nos parece. Pero sólo funciona si lo hacemos nosotros.

Entonces podemos experimentar la presencia de Dios y ahí es donde existe la plenitud de la Alegría.

 Salmo 9:3

Cuando mis enemigos se vuelvan atrás, caerán y perecerán ante tu presencia.

Los demonios de la depresión y la opresión serán debilitados y destruidos en la alabanza

La palabra usada por David aquí “cantaré alabanzas en tu nombre” es un término muy musical. Está en el griego “Psallo” que viene de vibrar o puntear como en tocar un instrumento de cuerda y cantar. Como una estrella de rock and roll, solo que dirigido al Dios correcto.

1Cor 14:15

¿Qué es entonces? Oraré con el espíritu, y oraré también con el entendimiento: Cantaré (psallo) con el espíritu, y cantaré (psallo) también con el entendimiento.

Nosotros hoy en la nueva alianza podemos cantar con el espíritu santo cantando en lenguas y también cantando con nuestra propia lengua.

Es parte de nuestra adoración y nos permite luchar y permanecer en sus promesas. Habiendo hecho todo esto nos mantenemos de pie y estamos completamente equipados para cualquier ataque del enemigo.

Ef 5:19

Hablando entre vosotros con salmos e himnos y cánticos espirituales, cantando y haciendo melodía (Psallo) en vuestro corazón al Señor;

Y entonces podemos tener el poder de ver el lado bueno de cada cosa que se nos presenta. Siempre hay algo por lo que estar agradecidos. Siempre hay un lado positivo porque ahora tenemos vida eterna y esperanza eterna.

Efesios 5:20

Dando siempre gracias por todas las cosas a Dios y al Padre en el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo;

Es cierto que se necesita fe. Pero es un regalo y lo tienes en el espíritu que EL te dio.

Concedido va contra nuestra naturaleza pero es la naturaleza de Dios. Podemos ver nuestra copa medio llena o medio vacía. Es una decisión de caminar por fe o por vista. Si caminamos por la vista en nuestra carne siempre está vacía y nunca llena. Pero en la fe estamos siendo llenados constantemente con alegría.

 1Pe 4:13

Pero alegraos, por cuanto sois partícipes de los padecimientos de Cristo, para que cuando se manifieste su gloria, os alegréis también con gran alegría.

Hermanos míos, tenedlo todo por alegría cuando caigáis en diversas tentaciones;

Esto le suena a alguien que sólo ve con los ojos como puro masoquismo. Pero no lo es. Nuestra fe es un don que tenemos de Dios

Ef 2:8

Porque por gracia habéis sido salvados mediante la fe. Y esto no es obra tuya, es un don de Dios,

Pero tú dirás ¡no lo siento!   No experimento la fe o el gozo así que no lo tengo. No, no es así. Usted recibió toda la fe de Cristo y toda la alegría de Cristo cuando lo invocó y fue salvado por la entrada del don del espíritu santo. Tienes la fe para actuar, pero debes hacerlo. Cuando tengas ganas o cuando no las tengas. Trabaja en ti y no eres tú quien lo hace….eso es la gracia. También es una alegría porque puedes salir de cada prueba más débil o más fuerte en tu fe. Usted tiene la fe de Cristo y no necesita más pero debemos crecer en Cristo y obtener algún músculo, músculo del espíritu y eso es la meta…..perserverence o paciencia.

Sabiendo esto, que la prueba de vuestra fe produce paciencia.

Hay dos tipos de conocimiento. Uno es verlo y conocerlo y la otra forma es experimentarlo y conocerlo realmente. Esta palabra griega para “conocer” es la segunda.  Cuando empezamos a crecer en Cristo Dios no está causando las pruebas (al diablo le gusta hacer eso) pero Dios nos está mostrando “más grande es Él, que es Cristo en ustedes que el que está en el mundo. Ese es tu viejo hombre, la parte muerta de ti llamada carne. Cuando usted puede venir a través de una prueba con la alegría y la fuerza que tiene una nueva experiencia. Te has reído del intento fallido del diablo y sigues adelante con un poco más de perseverancia y músculo. Eso se suma a tu experiencia para que puedas decir la próxima vez que el diablo te lance una prueba a tu manera…. “¡dale, perdedor!” e incluso tener alegría, el sentimiento de Alegría en lugar de derrota y depresión.

Pero se necesita un poco de esfuerzo para alabar a Dios y reconocerlo e incluso agradecerle que todo esto funcionará para bien. Y si caemos no estás perdiendo tu vida Eterna o a Cristo en ti.  El Padre siempre te recogerá en Sus brazos de misericordia y tienes otro día en la Eternidad para aprender y crecer.

Y que la perseverancia tenga su efecto perfecto, para que seáis perfectos y completos, sin que os falte nada

Esta es nuestra meta para crecer en Cristo. ¡Y continuar alabando a Dios especialmente cuando el calor está encendido!

Como se ahuyenta el humo,

Así perezcan los impíos ante la presencia de Dios.

 Salmo 75:8

Porque en la mano de Jehová hay una copa, y el vino es tinto; está llena de mezcla, y él derrama de ella; pero las heces de ella, todos los impíos de la tierra las escurrirán y las beberán.

 Salmo 75:9

Pero yo declararé para siempre; cantaré alabanzas al Dios de Jacob.

Cuando cantamos y alabamos a Dios tenemos el fruto de su espíritu derramado en nosotros. Y esos mismos eventos que están probando al mundo aún hoy pueden ser heces amargas o una buena copa de vino. Depende de nuestro punto de vista, así que nos quejamos o alabamos a Dios que somos más fuertes.

Si queremos superar la depresión y los enemigos así aquí es una gran manera David animó a sí mismo. Canta, toca música, alaba, agradece por todas las bendiciones y cuéntalas.

Ce qui est aussi traduit dans le KJV par “remonter le moral”.

Jdg 9:12

Alors les arbres dirent à la vigne : Viens, et règne sur nous.

 Jdg 9:13

Et la vigne leur dit : Dois-je laisser mon vin, qui réjouit Dieu et les hommes, et aller me promouvoir sur les arbres ?

{Je comprends pourquoi tant de gens, en période d’oppression, deviennent alcooliques ou toxicomanes. Que ce soit légal ou illégal, cela n’a pas d’importance. Mais la joie du vin de Dieu est bien meilleure car elle ne laisse pas de gueule de bois. Il édifie votre corps et ne le détruit pas. Il vous maintient sur le bon chemin, et ne vous entraîne pas dans des décisions insensées. Pourtant, avec modération, Dieu n’a jamais condamné le vin. Mais il y a comparé sa joie. Pourquoi ? Il savait qu’il devait briser notre compréhension avec quelque chose que nous pouvions comprendre, je suppose}.

C’était une parabole de Jotham disant qu’ils avaient choisi un roi qui n’était pas un bon roi. Et il a comparé le roi à des ronces. Ce roi à Sichem était un meurtrier idolâtre et mauvais. Abimelech. Mais Israël avait du mal à choisir le meilleur pour lui-même. Ils ont même rejeté le roi Jésus qui était la vigne.

Dans la parabole de Joram, il a été comparé à des ronces, mais les arbres ont demandé un roi. Les trois arbres ou plantes utilisés font référence à Israël : l’olivier avec son huile riche, la figue avec sa douceur et la vigne avec ses raisins qui donnent du vin et de la joie. Jésus était la vigne d’où la joie du Saint-Esprit était déversée……. un vin saint !

Remarquez que Dieu compare souvent le sentiment de fête provoqué chez les hommes par le vin avec la joie meilleure et plus permanente qui découle de la VIGNE qui est Jésus et son esprit. Il a fourni le vin nouveau de l’Esprit. Son vin n’est venu qu’après avoir été écrasé. Seulement après avoir bu la lie du péché pour nous et avoir été écrasé sur la croix. Ce n’est qu’après ce processus que la joie du Saint-Esprit a pu être déversée.

Psaume 9:2

Je serai dans l’allégresse et je me réjouirai en toi, Je célébrerai ton nom, toi le Très-Haut.

Ici, se réjouir est “samah” et se réjouir ici est “alats” Samah signifie être heureux, content et se réjouir. Alats signifie exulter, c’est-à-dire ressentir ou montrer un bonheur ou une exaltation triomphante.

Et cela vient de la louange de Dieu.

Psa 9:1

[[Au chef musicien de Muthlabben, Psaume de David]]. Je te louerai, ô Éternel, de tout mon cœur, je raconterai toutes tes merveilles.

“Je te louerai” C’est une décision volontaire de “louer” et c’est un verbe actif.  Le mot louange est Yada en hébreu ידה et il signifie élever la louange, comme lorsque vous levez les mains pour chanter à Dieu. Il vient du mot pour main “yad” et un dérivé de louange “yada” est Yehuda ou Judea qui signifie louange. Ceux qui louent Dieu sont les vrais Juifs ou Judéens. Souvent, les Judéens ne le faisaient pas.

En fait, ce psaume de David commence par une “confession” : IL a confessé que Dieu est grand ! Il devait confesser ou être en accord avec Dieu pour recevoir la joie. “Je te confesserai (le mot en grec Septante est homologeo le même utilisé ici :

Rom 10:9

Si tu confesses (homologeo) de ta bouche le Seigneur Jésus, et si tu crois dans ton coeur que Dieu l’a ressuscité des morts, tu seras sauvé.

Cela signifie que tu es d’accord avec Dieu. Dieu est grand !

Tout salut en temps de détresse commence par l’humilité et un cri. Mais tu dois abandonner et crier !

“Seigneur, sauve-moi, je coule” L’amour ne manquera jamais !!

Rom 10:13

Car quiconque invoque le nom du Seigneur sera sauvé.

Remarquez que David a dû croire et donc décider de “louer” ou de “confesser Dieu”, se réjouir, se réjouir “je louerai”, “j’extérioriserai”, “je me réjouirai”, “je me réjouirai” et enfin “je chanterai”.

Ce sont tous des actes de volonté, et pour vaincre l’ennemi de la dépression des choses tristes que nos ennemis nous font, nous devons louer Dieu même si nous n’en avons pas envie.

David était dans des batailles physiques mais nous sommes dans des batailles spirituelles.

C’est en marchant non pas par la vue mais par la foi que l’on peut déplacer les montagnes. Je vais jouer de la musique et chanter mon blues ! Quand je chanterai tes œuvres grandes et merveilleuses. C’est la clé de la joie et de l’allégresse quand il n’y a rien à voir qui soit très heureux. Du moins, c’est ce qu’il nous semble. Mais cela ne fonctionne que si nous le faisons !

Alors nous pouvons faire l’expérience de la présence de Dieu et c’est là que se trouve la plénitude de la joie.

 Psa 9:3

Quand mes ennemis auront reculé, ils tomberont et périront en ta présence.

Les démons de la dépression et de l’oppression seront affaiblis et détruits dans la louange.

Le mot utilisé par David ici “Je chanterai des louanges à ton nom” est un terme très musical. Il s’agit du grec “Psallo” qui vient de vibrer ou pincer comme dans le fait de jouer d’un instrument à cordes et de chanter. Comme une star du rock and roll, mais dirigée vers le bon Dieu.

1Co 14:15

Qu’en est-il donc ? Je prierai par l’esprit, et je prierai aussi par l’intelligence : Je chanterai (psallo) par l’esprit, et je chanterai (psallo) aussi par l’intelligence.

Aujourd’hui, dans la nouvelle alliance, nous pouvons chanter avec le Saint-Esprit en chantant en langues et aussi en chantant dans notre propre langue.

Cela fait partie de notre culte et nous permet de combattre et de nous tenir sur ses promesses. Ayant fait tout cela, nous nous tenons debout et sommes pleinement équipés pour toute attaque de l’ennemi.

Eph 5:19

En vous adressant à vous-mêmes par des psaumes, des hymnes et des chants spirituels, en chantant et en faisant des mélodies (Psallo) dans votre cœur au Seigneur ;

Et alors nous pouvons avoir le pouvoir de voir le côté positif de chaque chose qui se présente à nous. Il y a toujours quelque chose dont on peut être reconnaissant. Il y a toujours un côté positif parce que nous avons maintenant la vie éternelle et une espérance éternelle !

Eph 5:20

Rendez toujours grâces pour toutes choses à Dieu et au Père, au nom de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ ;

Je vous accorde que cela demande de la Foi. Mais c’est un don et vous l’avez dans l’esprit qu’il vous a donné.

Il est vrai que cela va à l’encontre de notre nature mais c’est la nature de Dieu. Nous pouvons voir notre tasse à moitié pleine ou à moitié vide. C’est une décision de marcher par la foi ou par la vue. Si nous marchons par la vue dans notre chair, elle est toujours vide et jamais pleine. Mais dans la foi, nous sommes constamment remplis de joie.

 1Pe 4:13

Mais réjouissez-vous, puisque vous participez aux souffrances de Christ, afin que, lorsque sa gloire sera révélée, vous soyez aussi dans l’allégresse avec une joie extrême.

Mes frères, réjouissez-vous de tomber dans diverses tentations ;

Pour quelqu’un qui ne voit qu’avec ses yeux, cela ressemble à du pur masochisme ! Mais non, ce n’est pas le cas. Notre foi est un don que nous recevons de Dieu

Eph 2:8

Car c’est par la grâce que vous avez été sauvés, par le moyen de la foi. Et cela ne vient pas de vous, c’est le don de Dieu,

Mais vous allez dire que je ne le ressens pas !   Je n’expérimente pas la foi ou la joie, donc je ne l’ai pas. Non, ce n’est pas ainsi que cela fonctionne. Vous avez reçu toute la foi de Christ et toute la joie de Christ lorsque vous avez fait appel à Lui et que vous avez été sauvé par l’entrée du don du Saint-Esprit. Vous avez la foi pour agir, mais vous devez le faire. Quand tu en as envie ou quand tu n’en as pas envie. Il agit en vous et ce n’est pas vous qui le faites…. c’est la grâce. C’est aussi une joie parce que vous pouvez sortir de chaque épreuve plus faible ou plus fort dans votre foi. Vous avez la foi de Christ et vous n’avez pas besoin de plus, mais nous devons grandir en Christ et acquérir du muscle, du muscle spirituel et c’est le but…..perserverence ou la patience.

Il y a deux sortes de connaissance. L’une est de le voir et de le connaître et l’autre est de l’expérimenter et de le connaître vraiment. Ce mot grec pour “connaître” est le second.  Lorsque nous commençons à grandir en Christ, Dieu ne provoque pas les épreuves (le diable aime faire cela) mais Dieu nous montre “qu’il est plus grand, le Christ en vous, que celui qui est dans le monde. C’est-à-dire votre vieil homme, la partie morte de vous appelée chair. Lorsque vous pouvez traverser une épreuve avec joie et force, vous avez une nouvelle expérience. Vous vous êtes moqué de la tentative ratée du diable et vous avancez avec un peu plus de persévérance et de force. Cela ajoute à votre expérience et vous pouvez dire la prochaine fois que le diable vous lance une épreuve : …. “bring it on loser !” et même avoir de la joie, le sentiment de joie au lieu de la défaite et de la dépression.

Mais il faut faire un petit effort pour louer Dieu et le reconnaître, et même le remercier que tout se passera pour le mieux ! Et si nous tombons, vous ne perdez pas votre vie éternelle ou le Christ en vous.  Le Père vous ramassera toujours dans ses bras de miséricorde et vous avez un autre jour dans l’Eternité pour apprendre et grandir.

Jas 1:4 NET

Et que l’endurance produise son effet parfait, afin que vous soyez parfaits et complets, ne manquant de rien.

C’est notre objectif de grandir en Christ. Et continuez à louer Dieu, surtout quand il fait chaud !

 Psa 68:4

Chantez à Dieu, chantez les louanges de son nom ;

exaltez Celui qui monte sur les nuages,[fn]

Par son nom YAH,

Et réjouissez-vous devant lui.

Psa 68:2

Comme on chasse la fumée,

Ainsi les chasse-t-on ;

Comme la cire se fond devant le feu,

Que les méchants périssent devant la face de Dieu.

 Psaume 75:8

Car il y a dans la main de l’Éternel une coupe, et le vin est rouge ; elle est pleine de mélange, et il en verse ; mais la lie, tous les méchants de la terre l’arrachent et la boivent.

 Psa 75:9

Mais je chanterai à jamais, je célébrerai le Dieu de Jacob.

Lorsque nous chantons et louons Dieu, le fruit de son esprit se déverse sur nous. Et ces mêmes événements qui mettent le monde à l’épreuve aujourd’hui encore peuvent être soit une lie amère, soit une bonne coupe de vin. Cela dépend de notre point de vue. Si nous nous plaignons ou si nous louons Dieu, nous sommes plus forts.

Si nous voulons surmonter la dépression et les ennemis de ce genre, voici un excellent moyen pour David de s’encourager. Chantez, jouez de la musique, louez, soyez reconnaissants pour toutes les bénédictions et comptez-les !

Psaume 149

Alléluia !

Chantez à l’Éternel un chant nouveau,

sa louange dans l’assemblée des fidèles.

Qu’Israël célèbre son créateur ;

que les enfants de Sion se réjouissent de leur Roi.

Qu’ils louent son nom en dansant

et qu’ils lui fassent de la musique (Psallo) avec le tambourin et la lyre.

{Jouez aussi de la guitare électrique et des synthétiseurs pour Dieu.}

Car l’Éternel prend plaisir à son peuple ;

il orne les humbles de son salut.

{Voyez que c’est ainsi que Dieu vous guérit et vous sauve avec joie}

Que les fidèles célèbrent dans une gloire triomphale ;

qu’ils crient de joie sur leurs lits.

{comme l’homme que Jésus guérit et à qui il dit de ramasser son lit Jean 5:8}

Que l’exaltation de Dieu soit dans leurs bouches

liant leurs rois avec des chaînes

et leurs dignitaires avec des chaînes de fer,

{Jésus nous a donné le pouvoir sur la mort ! Quel démon ne pouvons-nous pas lier en chantant les louanges de Dieu ?}

en exécutant le jugement décrété contre eux.

Cet honneur est pour tout son peuple fidèle.

Voici notre arme : la parole de Dieu et son chant Alléluia ! Il est notre source et Il a déversé Son esprit.

Im looking at the Hebrew word Samah שָׂמַח

Which is also translated in KJV as “cheer up”

Jdg 9:12

Then said the trees unto the vine, Come thou, and reign over us.

And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?

{I can see why so many people in times of oppression become alcoholics or drug users. Legal or illegal doesn’t matter. But the Joy of Gods wine is much better since it leaves no hang over. It edifies your body not destroy it. It keeps you on the right path, not bring you into fooling decisions. Yet in moderation God never condemned wine. But He has compared his Joy to it. Why? HE knew that He had to break through our understanding with something that we could understand I suppose.

This was a parable of Jotham saying that they chose a king that was not a good king. And he compared the king to brambles. This king in Shechem was an idolatrous evil murderer. Abimelech. But Israel had trouble chosing the best for themselves. They even rejected the King Jesus who was the vine.

In the parable of Joram He was compared to brambles but the trees asked for a king. The three trees or plants used are used in reference to Israel; The Olive with it rich oil, the Fig with its sweetness and the Vine of grapes providing wine and cheer. Jesus was the Vine from which the Holy spirit Joy was poured out…….a holy wine!

Notice that God compares often the feeling of the celebration caused in men by wine with the better and more permament joy that flows from the VINE who is Jesus and His spirit. He provided the new wine of the Spirit. His wine came only after HE was crushed. Only after He drank the dregs of sin for us and was crushed on the cross. Only after this process could the Joy of the Holy spirit be poured out.

It was finally poured into the disciples on Pentecost and they must have seemed drunk or a least happy because they were accused of being drunk with “new wine”

In truth they were filled with the wine of the holy spirit that was alluded to here:

Mar 2:22 And no one pours new wine into old wineskins; otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the skins will be destroyed. Instead new wine is poured into new wineskins.”

Psa 9:2

I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

Here glad is “samah” and rejoice here is “alats”  Samah means to be glad, happy and rejoice. Alats means to exult, which means to feel or show triumphant happiness or elation.

And this comes from praising God.

Psa 9:1

[[To the chief Musician upon Muthlabben, A Psalm of David.]] I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

“I will praise thee” It is a willful decision to “praise” and it is an active verb.  The word praise is Yada in Hebrew ידה and it means to lift up praise, like when you lift your hands up to sing to God. It comes from the word for hand “yad” and one derivative of praise “yada” is Yehuda or Judea which meant praise. Those who praise God are the real Jews or Judea. Many times the Judeans did not.

Actually, this Psalm of David starts with “confession:” HE confessed God is great! HE had to confess or be in agreement with God to receive the Joy. “I will confess thee (the word in Greek Septuagint is homologeo the same used here:

Rom 10:9

That if thou shalt confess (homologeo) with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Meaning saying you agree with God. God is great!

All salvation in time of trouble begins with humility and a cry. But you have to give it up and call!

“Lord save me I’m sinking”  Love will never fail!!

Rom 10:13

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Notice that David had to believe and therefore decide to “praise” or “confess God”, Be glad, rejoice “I will praise” I will shew forth, I will be glad, I will rejoice and finally “I will sing praises”

There are all acts of the will, and to overcome the enemy of depression of sad things that our enemies are doing to us we must praise God even if we do not feel like it.

David was in physical battles but we are in spirit battles.

It is walking not by sight but by faith that can move the mountains away. I will play music and sing my blues away! When I sing about your great and marvellous works. This is a key to Joy and gladness when there is nothing to be seen that is very happy. Or so it seems to us. But it works only if we do it!

Then we can experience Gods presence and that is where the fullness of Joy exists.

 Psa 9:3

When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.

The demons of depression and oppression will be weakened and destroyed in praise
The word used by David here “I will sing praises in your name” is a very musical term. It is in the Greek “Psallo” coming from vibrate or pluck as in playing a stringed instrument and singing. Like a rock and roll star, only directed at the correct God.

1Co 14:15

What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing ^(psallo) with the spirit, and I will sing ^(psallo) with the understanding also.

We today in the new covenant can sing with the holy spirit by singing in tongues and also by singing with our own language.

It is part of our worship and enables us to fight and stand on His promises. Having done all stand and stand fully equipt for any attack from the enemy.

Eph 5:19

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody (Psallo) in your heart to the Lord;

And then we can have the power to see the rosey side of every thing that comes our way. There is always something to be thankful for. There is always a positive side because we have now Eternal life and and everlasting hope!

Eph 5:20

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Granted that it takes Faith. But it is a gift and you have it in the spirit HE gave you.

Granted it goes against our nature but it is Gods nature. We can see our cup half full or half empty. It is a decision to walk by faith or by sight. If we walk by sight in our flesh it is always empty and never full. But in faith we are being filled constantly with joy.

 1Pe 4:13

But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

 Jas 1:2

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

This sounds to someone who only sees with his eyes as pure masochism! But no it is not. Our faith is a gift we have from God

Eph 2:8

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,

But you will say I am not feeling it!   I don’t experience faith or joy so I don’t have it. No that is not how it works. You received all Christ’s faith and all Christ’s joy when you called on Him and were saved by the entrance of the gift of the holy spirit. You have the faith to act, but you must do it. When you feel like it or when you don’t. It works in you and it is not you doing it….that is grace. Also it is a joy because you can come out of every test weaker or stronger in your faith. You have the faith of Christ and need no more but we must grow up in Christ and get some muscle, spirit muscle and that is the goal…..perserverence  or patience.

Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.

There is two kinds of knowing. One is to see it and to know it and the other way it to experience it and really know it. This Greek word for “knowing” is the second.  When we start to grow up in Christ God is not causing the trials (the devil likes to do that) but God is showing us “greater is He, that is Christ in you than he that is in the world. That being your old man, the dead part of you called flesh. When you can come through a trial with joy and strength you have a new experience. You have laughed at the devils failed attempt and move on with a little more perserverence and muscle. That adds to you experience so you can say next time the devil throws a trial your way….”bring it on loser!” and even have joy, the feeling of Joy instead of defeat and depression.

But it take a little effort to praise God and acknowledge Him and even thank Him that this will all work out for the best! And if we fall you are not losing your Eternal life or Christ in you.  Father will always pick you up in His arms of mercy and you have another day in Eternity to learn and grow.

And let endurance have its perfect effect, so that you will be perfect and complete, not deficient in anything

This is our goal to grow in Christ. And continue praising God especially when the heat is on!

 Psa 68:4

Sing to God, sing praises to His name;
Extol Him who rides on the clouds,[fn]
By His name YAH,
And rejoice before Him.

Psa 68:2

As smoke is driven away,

So drive them away;

As wax melts before the fire,

So let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

 Psa 75:8

For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

 Psa 75:9

But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

When we sing and praise God we have the fruit of His spirit poured out to us. And those same events that are trying the world even today can be either bitter dregs or a good cup of wine. It depends on our view, SO we complain or praise God that we are stronger.

If we want to over come depression and enemies like that here is a great way David encouraged himself. Sing, play music praise be thankful for ever blessing and count them!

Psa 149

Hallelujah!

Sing to the LORD a new song,

his praise in the assembly of the faithful.

Let Israel celebrate its Maker;

let the children of Zion rejoice in their King

Let them praise his name with dancing

and make music (Psallo) to him with tambourine and lyre.

{Play the electric guitar and synthesizers for God too}

For the LORD takes pleasure in his people;

he adorns the humble with salvation.

{See that is how God will heal you and save you with Joy}

Let the faithful celebrate in triumphal glory;

let them shout for joy on their beds.

{as the man Jesus healed and told to pick up his bed John 5:8}

Let the exaltation of God be in their mouths

and a double-edged sword in their hands,

{Our most powerful weapon is the Sword of the Spirit the word of God.!}

inflicting vengeance on the nations

and punishment on the peoples,

{ Our enemies are no longer any man, but spirits and principalities in high places. Spirits hovering around us oppressing and depressing us. They must go when we sing Hallelujah! And lift up our shield of believing}

binding their kings with chains

and their dignitaries with iron shackles,

{Jesus has given us the power over death! What demon can we not bind by singing Gods praises?}

carrying out the judgment decreed against them.

This honor is for all his faithful people.

Hallelujah!

This is our weapon the word of God and singing it Hallelujah! He is our source and He has poured out His spirit.

Acts 2   

Act 2:36

Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Peter’s first holy spirit inspired sermon cam to a close. He was speaking to whom? He was addressing the Jews in Jerusalem that came to the feast of Shavuot. The witness was first given and forgiveness offered in Jerusalem as Jesus commanded n Acts 1 :8.

« Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: » Acts 2 :14

It was the house of Israel and the Jews that crucuified their King. But that was Gods plan to save the Jews and all the world! CHRIST CAME TO FORGIVE NOT TO JUDGE.  And we all are saved and with the house of Israel when we called on the name of the Lord. And we all can say we crucified Him being that we all are of the house of Isreal. All mankind. And He died not for just the sins of Judea but the Jews that are from every race, spiritual Israel and spiritual Jews

Rom 11:26

And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

He came to Zion on that hill in Jerusalem. The day He paid the price for the sin of the whole world He turned ungodliness away from Jacob. Only one condition. They just need to accept and receive forgiveness in His Sacrifice. There is one way and He is the Way.

Rom 11:29

For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

Gods offers and gifts never change. But people do all the time and a majority of the Jews prefered to no ask for Forgiveness and follow the religion of their elders.

All Israel is saved when and only when they accept the offering of Jesus the Lamb of God

Act 2:21

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

That was Gods offer but it was up to man to take it or leave it

About three thousand Jews accepted Jesus that day and the House of God began in Jerusalem as a Jewish Church! And Luke records the growth through Samaria to the uttermost parts of the Nations.

Act 2:37

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Act 2:38

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Act 2:39

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Psa 5:3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

Psa 5:4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

Psa 5:7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

Psa 5:8 Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

Because God is good and not evil and His ways are the right ways to prosperity and goodness, I lift my sorry old soul up in prayer in the morning. Lord what do you want me to do today? His house is not a building with bill to keep the heat on. And it is not just a zoom meeting that has Internet problems. Nor and empty building shut down by the government or the CDC.

And it is not a temple in Isreal that needs to be rebuilt NOPE! NOPEI it is US! THE BODY OF THE LIVING CHRIST! I am in His house, His church and His Body all the time and anywhere I go!

Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter (a little rock), and upon this ROCK (Christ) I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Eph 1:22 And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church,

Eph 1:23 Which is His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all.

I have come into the Body of Christ the House of God by His multitude of mercy when He sent His son to find me. I am home!

AND NO DEMON CAN CHANGE THAT! YOU CAN STAND ON THAT ROCKSOLID PROMISE!

Psa 5:11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

If God says we may rejoice then we can because it is available to do. God is not telling us to be happy because if we don’t He is not Happy! God is Joy and he would not tell his children to rejoice if it was not possible. It is a promise! So Rejoice, you can and you have permission. Just Trust Him.

In Christ we are at Home with God and we can forever shout for Joy!

Psa 16:1[[Michtam of David.]] Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.

Psa 16:5The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.

Psa 16:7I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.

Many a night I can not sleep but I don’t run to the pill cabinet, I pray. And when I do He gives counsel and instructs me with ideas in my mind. I get the sleep I need and the answers too. But naybe not the recommended 7 or 8 hours the pharmacy companies recommend. It is all good. Don’t trust them!

Psa 16:8I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

And when I keep the Lord as my first priority all things come in their time and I am on a steady, steady course forward. To my final destiny …Paradise.

Psa 16:9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.

Many live a restless life because they fear what will come in a few years. But they have no hope of Eternal life! We do and for that hope we can rest. Our bodies and minds can always find rest from the fear of death. Once you can say that you do not fear death, what can scare you? Depression comes from disappointments and broken hopes. Mini hopes can come and go. But that is life in this world. Life in Eternity has a rock solid reason to hope and always be glad. We know that we are on a path towards home. We are passing through and life here is a vapor, a passing dream. Those who believe that this is all there is are busy grabbing and grabbing all the toys that they can to get more pleasure. But it fails, but we who have Hope are giving, giving, and giving.

Psa 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

God rose His son from that grave two thousand years back and each and every believer too when we called on the Savior. Nothing can seperate us from our Fathers love.

Psa 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore

When we walk with Him we are on the paths of life. When we are in His presence there is always a party! Wherever we are we can be with Him now. We can speak with Him in prayer and praise and realize that we are in His invisible Church, the Home of Our Daddy where there is fullness of Joy and blessing forever. We just need to get into His presence and run back to Him every time we find our selves out in the cold.

I have a little Mexican dog, Molly. She is destined like me to finish her days in cold Canada. Poor thing! She has to go out in the snow every morning to pee and poop. She has no fur! When I let her outside I am her Daddy. And she is not even my own seed, but my adopted daughter. We humans who believed are born again of Gods own seed, Christ, and we are really His children. When my dog is freezing, I stand at the door and watch to see that she did her business and then welcome her back as soon as I can get her into the warmth of our home. Some times when it is minus 20 outside I even go out and stand on the porch because I am so concerned about his little 8 pound fur baby. How much more would a parent who loves his own be there to welcome his children back every time they are out in the cold. How much more would God welcome his prodigal children back for a party when they are done pooping? I am sure God is a lot more loving that I am. But even my Chihuahua teaches me revelation.

Act 2:16

No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

Act 2:17

“ ‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

Act 2:18

Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.

Act 2:19

I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke.

Act 2:20

The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.

This is the first sermon  inspired by the brand new Gift of the Holy spirit. Christ was speaking again to his people. God was speaking in Christ who was speaking through the gift of the holy spirit now living and speaking by the mouth of Simon Peter to Israel!

Now the prophecy that Joel spoke some five or six centuries before.  God, the Holy Spirit, know all. And now on this day of Pentecost it was fulfilled and  the Kingdom of God was birthed as the new Body of Christ. Being build one member at a time until He returns

Many have said this was “Like” what Joel said. But that is NOT what Peter said “this is what” and not like some future we still are looking for. No it came. And after seventy years there was “blood and fire” and the sun was darkened by the Temple and all Jerusalem burnt to the ground by the Roman Titus.  And when people run from God to their religion or Satan’s counterfeit, they may again and again experience “Blood and Fire”  It is just physics.  No light. No Jesus. Equals darkness over the land.

Many teach “What happened on the day of Pentecost was a near fulfillment of that promise, with the final fulfillment coming in the last days” But when Jesus sent the Gift of the Holy spirit it was not the “near” fulfillment but total fulfillment starting from that day until the end of this world. Jesus Christ fulfilled all his work for us and now we work for Him and by His spirit HE IS ALIVE! AND THE KINGDOM IS HERE!  We are just waiting for this world to get out of the Way.

Act 2:21

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

 Act 2:22

“Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know—

• Here Peter was obeying Jesus’ command in Acts 1:8
• He stayed in Jerusalem until the promise came
• Now that he received it Peter became a witness to Jerusalem and Israel first

Act 2:23

“Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken[fn] by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death

Act 2:24

“whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.

• That was the gospel
• That Jesus was ALIVE! And present by the witness of the holy spirit!
• Then Peter reminded the Jews the well known  old scriptures of David that this too was already explained a thousand years before
• “For You will not leave my soul in the Grave”
• This was the simple Gospel: The death of Jesus, the Ressurection from the dead and the Living Christ coming in the Gift of the Holy spirit! 

Act 2:38

Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Act 2:39

“For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”

• Repent. To repent means to change your mind. In context, it means changing your mind about Christ and the goodness of God (Rom. 2:4). Peter is echoing Jesus who said “Repent and believe the good news” (Mark 1:15). “Change your unbelieving mind and believe the glad tidings of God’s grace and forgiveness.”
• We are not forgiven because we repent and are baptized; we are forgiven in accordance with the riches of his grace (see Eph. 1:7). Forgiveness is a gift to receive (Acts 26:18) rather than a wage to be earned.
• We are baptized and cleaned not by our sprinkling, dunking or even scub diving in water, but only by the Blood of Jesus.  The whole Gospel of what HE did not what we do.
• However, you will never experience his forgiveness unless you receive it by faith. Only in Christ do we have the forgiveness of sins (Eph. 1:7, Col. 1:14).
• And the goal is to have Christ living and working in you. The promise of the holy spirit is given as a gift. It is given but we must believe we are forgiven first. Then we can have the confidence to be Christ. Then we can join the Living Christ with His spirit living in us
• Peter offered this Good News here to the Jews and some three thousand accepted it that day!
• Paul continued and was called to bring the same Gospel to the Corinthians and the rest of the world.

1Co 15:1

Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand,

1Co 15:2

by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

1Co 15:3

For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

We need to make this our priority!  Bring the Good news so simple a child can get the power of God! This simple Good news that Jesus overcame the eternal sleep to Give us all Eternal life by leaving that tomb behind and pouring Himself into all of those who ask for it!  That should be first thing.

Isa 3:1

For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water,

This is the supply and support of God. The prophet Isaiah cried out inspite of his government and churches telling him to shut up> He lovingly was showing them the solution for their economy going to pieces. Shutdowns and fear all about. It was just the lack of God in Israel and so it is the same reason today. God is our source but we shut Him out for technology and they shut God our for Egypt. Nothing changes, the false pastors work for the government and will not bight the hand that feeds them. Not even if they are told to fleece the sheep instead of warn and protect them. We who speak for God are called evil.

 Isa 3:5

And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.

We have seen our children stolen from us in the same way. They to be little soldiers for Egypt and now the Communist new governments.  I personally am seeing my grandchildren being taught by the internet to be rebellious and disrespect the elders. We who hold the last vestiges of Christianity!

Isa 3:6 NET

Indeed, a man will grab his brother right in his father’s house and say, ‘You own a coat – you be our leader! This heap of ruins will be under your control.’ If a man has money we think he is king. So we make fools into our leaders. We want to have cloths and food, that is normal. But instead of God we run to the government as they ran to Egypt until they were totally destroyed by Satan. So went Israel to Babylon as we are today.

Isa 3:4

And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.

The LORD says, “I will make youths their officials; malicious young men will rule over them.

When children rule the parents and the wife rules the men. We have a problem. The order of God is turned up side down today. This morning I had to step in to tell my grand daughter who were being home programed by the Socialist Education system to stopping yelling at their Grandma and have respect for their elders!!

Isa 3:5  NET

The people will treat each other harshly; men will oppose each other; neighbors will fight. Youths will proudly defy the elderly and riffraff will challenge those who were once respected. I am seeing this today!! AND if no “pastors” are raising the alarm. I am called to do it. God help me!!

I am seeing this happen right before my very eyes!!

Israel was destroyed and taken over by their Communist Pagan God rejecting neighbor and so are we on the verge of a major war.  We like Israel cannot blame God but ourselves for rejecting Gods goodness for the worlds “goodness”. Good luck with that fools!

 Isa 3:7

At that time the brother will shout, ‘I am no doctor, I have no food or coat in my house; don’t make me a leader of the people!'”

And when you most need the system to work it fails you just like that! The social medical systems are to overburdened!  Turn back to God for your healing! You food supply is gone just like that! Turn back to love and respect!! You find yourself without shelter or food! Oh well!

Isa 3:8

Jerusalem certainly stumbles, Judah falls, for their words and their actions offend the LORD; they rebel against his royal authority.

It is not so much that God is offended. He is hurt to see his children being abused by the enemies but they have chosen not to listen. What can He do??

 Isa 3:9

The look on their faces testifies to their guilt; like the people of Sodom they openly boast of their sin. Too bad for them! For they bring disaster on themselves.

I feel like I am in Isaiahs shoes. Where are the prophets today? Not in Church! The pastors are bought with money and tax exemptions.

 Isa 3:10

Tell the innocent it will go well with them, for they will be rewarded for what they have done.

Yeah like the slogan all over Canada with a rainbow “Ca Va Bien Aller!” “things will get better!” But not when you are running from Jesus!

 Isa 3:11

Too bad for the wicked sinners! For they will get exactly what they deserve.

It is not God judging but trying to do all he can to get through and help! He is Love the devil is hate. He say not mockingly but with a heart “Too Bad” Oy VEY! But people judge themselves when they keep running away from the hard truth!

Oppressors treat my people cruelly; creditors rule over them. My people’s leaders mislead them; they give you confusing directions.

They have oppressed us with medical help! They have cruelly driven the populations of the world into Psychosis with confusion and uncertainty. No coivid rules work so they keep changing them until we are crazy and cannot think straight.

 Isa 3:14

The LORD comes to pronounce judgment on the leaders of his people and their officials. He says, “It is you who have ruined the vineyard! You have stashed in your houses what you have stolen from the poor.

IF they leaders do not repent and come back to the Light, who is Jesus. The Good God has no other choice but to protect His sheep and use his staff to beat down these wolves. When Gods creation is being trampled on by the enemy Satan, The Good Father will become righteously angry and take action to protect His. We may not see it today but restoration is coming. When the Lord Jesus finally returns for us will he find faith?

 Isa 3:15

Why do you crush my people and grind the faces of the poor?” The sovereign LORD who commands armies has spoken.

God has spoken and you have been warned you enemies of God!
