The war is over because of the Cross.

We have been forgiven and we have peace with God

So who cares if the people around us fight us and want to rumble

We forgive and we are the peace makers

Rom 5:1 “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ”

:Mat 5:9 “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”

Mat 5:10 “Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

People who persecute means that they will chase after you, However they need not catch you and cannot until it is your time. And then God will still protect you and you will be in the Kingdom of Heaven forever! In the same way, we in the Kingdom can chase or run after the things that bless people and make peace not hurt.

Rom 14:19 “Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.”

We can win by winning our enemies to ours ide not killing them. Here this word for « follow after » is the same as « persecute » it means to chase after but not necessarily catch you.Often we are fighting for freedom and blessings that are not real. But the real things are from the spirit not the temporal world that we are so in love with.(it is not that great after all)

Rom 14:17 “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.”

The only source of real peace isfrom the Kingdom of God and it is only through the peace we have with God.

Rom 5:1 “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ”

It is really « being justified out of faith » It is not our faith in Jesus that saved us, because first of all God gave us the faith to believe in Him enough for Him to place His faith into us. Who else would place the faith into our selves? US alone? We too are one of Gods creations right?

But the world here in Greek is « ek » meaning « out of faith »

Justified by faith. We are not justified or made right with God through our good works or law-keeping the law (see entry for Rom. 3:20). Rather, our justification is paid for with the blood of Jesus (Rom. 5:9) and comes to us as a gift of grace (Rom. 3:24, Tit. 3:7) that is received by faith (Rom. 3:28, Gal. 3:24).

Peace with God. As a result of being justified, we are made righteous and have peace with God.

We have the same relation Jesus had with His Father. Now HE is our father and Christ dwells in us!

Psa 37:37 net

“Take note of the one who has integrity! Observe the godly! For the one who promotes peace has a future.

“Sinful rebels are totally destroyed; evil men have no future.”

Psa 37:39 net

But the LORD delivers the godly; he protects them in times of trouble.”

War does not protect us or fighting for freedom but submitting to God does.

We have the peace of the ultimate peacemaker Jesus throbbing in our heart!

Jhn 14:27

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; I do not give it to you as the world does. Do not let your hearts be distressed or lacking in courage.”

The world looks for peace by following another man or another way. And the world never finds it. The only real peace is surrender to God and He will always protect and be more powerful than any enemy.

Jhn 16:33

“I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble and suffering, but take courage – I have conquered the world.”

2Th 3:16

“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with you all.”

When people disagree it is so easy to let anger and strife come into the picture. But there is a better way…..Love. We should love all men and give them a chance to learn in a peaceful manner. We can teach them as we would our own children. Admonish them in love.

We do not have to do the things they are doing and lower our standards to their but we should teach all by example and words in love. Even our enemies deserve a chance. Did you deserve anything before? No it is all by grace and we must live by grace, not judgement.

2Th 3:15

“Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

Rom 16:20

“The God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

It is this God of Peace that sent His son to destroy and crush sin and the devil not other people who are created in the image of God and can be saved to eternity. It is satan and his demons, Satan and his wicked thoughts and actions of hate that need to be crushed in ourselves not crushing other people!

Mat 7:3 “Why do you see the speck in your brother’s eye, but fail to see the beam of wood in your own?”

Because we have peace with God should share it in love. It is the gospel of peace not war that will win for the Kingdom of God on this earth

Rom 10:15

“And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!

”Eph 6:15

“and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;”

This igood news is what wins for the Kingdom of God, not killing or bullets but love. It is our weapon to spread the Gospel of peace to an angry world, not more war!

Rom 5:2

“through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”

Because we have surrendered to God we have won the war. We are at peace for eternity and forever in the Kingdom of God. No empire in the world will have us, but God has us in His hands.

This eternal life is our hope not a dying suffering life without God with our best hope to only look foward to the endless sleep of nothingness. We should remind our selves over and over we are going home to a real paradise that only can be tasted once in a while in small bits in this world if we are « lucky » without God.

But we can walk through this world with inner peace because we already are in the Kingdom of God and since we surrendered to God and we are in His ARMY WHO CAN TOUCH GOD??

We have the best protection and we stand up for our freedom untouchable. We are able to rejoice even when the devil tests us. No matter what we have the hope of the glory of GOD!

Rom 5:3

“Not only this, but we also rejoice in sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,”

Sounds crazy until you realize every man born must die and every one must suffer either old age, sickness or pain in one way or another. Some prefer to do it alone and some do it with HOPE! We have hope always with us because Christ lives in us!

Not only do we rejoice because of this inner security. We have have joy which does not change with what happens like happiness does. No, it is constant and anchored in eternal life that NOW lives in our breast.

Here the world for « rejoice in sufferings » is better translated « Speak loud and shout, brag and boast in tests because you know you are going to win » That is what real HOPE can do since we are at peace with our Father. And tests only become excercises to give our inner man more muscle. As we have patience, which is another characteristic of Christ, and another fruit from His spirit, we grow and grow more like Him……

ETERNAL PEACE. So that pressures can only build more Endurance or patience. Which is how Christ would react to tests because He was the Lord of Peace.

Rom 5:”and endurance, character, and character, hope.”

You want more hope? Here is the formula : We have been justified, so accept it. Therefore we have peace with God. Not by your piddly faith but by His faith as He took the nails in your place. Therefore we stand on this Grace. Therefore nothing can win against us. Therefore we have Hope and have Joy. Therefore the more the devil throws at us, the more we get stronger and laugh at his puny attempts. We just get stronger.

Therefore we prove God is real the more our character is proven to be stronger. Therefore we have more belief and proof that our Hope is real. That which does not kill me (nothing can kill eternal life), makes me stronger! finally is Biblical. Sorry Friedrich Nietzsche God is still alive.

Rom 5:5

“And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”

All this is because of love. Peace with God has been made because He first loved us so much He gave His own Son for us. Now we can love like He did since He poured out the gift Holy spirit and Christ in our hearts. First made available on the Pentecost two thousand years ago. Now available any time anyone wants to take the gift by believing it!
