The Theodor Herzl Henry Bullinger Connection

After years of the holy spirit leading me into more truth and not being afraid o looking outside my sect, the spirit showed me so much more.

I am thankful that Dr Weirwille did begin me on a journey using interlinears and concordances. I learned to navigate in Greek and Hebrew and English. I have expanded to search the internet and see the Word of God translated into so many languages. But finally found my personal relationship with the non absent and very much alive Jesus who is most the most important person for teaching me the truth. I am not looking for any rewards and know I will be persecuted, so praise the Lord anyways,. I feel that I have to expose the lies to the truth for the sake of the Love of Christ. It is His love that constrains me and I need not have any fear. I have nothing to gain, but you may.

I have broke free from the fear and control of the religious spirit operating from the Phsrisees spirit that spread into all forms of Christian sects, denominations and cults. But by the grace of God we have come out of many cults to meet the real Jesus. We have to prove all things as the holy spirit taught us throught the apostle Paul:

Quench not the Spirit.

Despise not prophesyings.

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Abstain from all appearance of evil. (like crucified girls)

And we must be free to search anywhere for truth. Motivated by love and not limited and controlled by the fear of leaders! We need to hold on to that with is good and Truth. We must read all and search unbiased history accounts and unbiased current events to see how the mystery of inquity is competing with the Mystery of the Body of Christ. There is a war going on and this is not a game. We may be saved but millions of eternal souls are at stake!

We want to be on the right side of history do we not?

We need to separate not from the people but the heresies and lies we have accepted. We need to use the power of the holy spirit to discern and judge people (let the Lord do that) but we need to judge and discern demons, the doctines of demons and their ideas. Never people.

(a) Prenez garde à la tentation d’attirer l’attention sur vous, car c’est la voie de la chair. La chair a soif de reconnaissance. “Regardez-moi. Regardez comme je suis bon”. L’autosatisfaction est le péché le plus mortel car elle gonfle notre orgueil et nous éloigne de la grâce de Dieu.
(b) Pratiquer votre justice. Les Juifs religieux qui vivaient sous l’ancienne alliance étaient des personnes morales qui avaient l’habitude de donner aux pauvres, de prier et de jeûner (Matt. 6:2, 6, 16). Il s’agissait de bonnes actions accomplies par de bonnes personnes, mais en fin de compte, c’était leur propre justice qu’ils cultivaient.
Dans la nouvelle alliance, nous sommes revêtus de la justice qui vient de Dieu et qui est reçue par la foi (Rom. 1:17, 3:22). C’est la justice de notre Père qui nous rend justes et nous incite à accomplir des actes justes.
(c) Récompense. Sous l’ancienne alliance, vous étiez béni si vous faisiez le bien et maudit si vous ne le faisiez pas. Il s’agissait d’un système de carotte et de bâton où les bonnes actions étaient accomplies dans l’espoir d’être récompensé ou béni par Dieu.
(d) Pas de récompense auprès de votre Père. Si vous êtes moralisateur (vous faites de bonnes actions pour vous faire bien voir des autres), n’attendez rien de Dieu. Vous avez déjà votre récompense (voir le verset suivant).
C’est une erreur de déformer ce verset et de conclure que Dieu nous bénit en fonction de nos bonnes actions. “Faites le bien, obtenez le bien”. Toutes les bénédictions de Dieu sont librement disponibles pour nous à cause de la grâce (Eph. 1:3). Cependant, il y a des récompenses données en fonction de notre travail (voir l’entrée pour 1 Cor. 3:14).

Jésus met en contraste deux façons de vivre. Nous pouvons vivre pour nous-mêmes en cherchant toujours à nous faire valoir par l’autosuffisance et l’autopromotion, ou nous pouvons nous soumettre humblement à Dieu, en faisant confiance à ses soins.
(c) Il vous récompensera. Dieu s’oppose aux orgueilleux mais fait grâce aux humbles (Jas. 4:6).
Les Juifs qui ont entendu Jésus prononcer ces paroles s’attendaient à être bénis pour leurs actes de charité, mais dans la nouvelle alliance, nous sommes bénis en raison de sa bonté, pas de la nôtre ((Eph. 1:3). Toutes les bénédictions du ciel viennent par la grâce seule. Alors pourquoi donner et faire de bonnes œuvres ? Parce que ceux qui ont été appréhendés par la grâce de Dieu deviennent eux-mêmes des dispensateurs de grâce. MATTHEW 6:1

Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven.

(a) Beware of the temptation to draw attention to yourself, for this is the way of the flesh. The flesh craves recognition. “Look at me. Look at how good I am.” Self-righteousness is the deadliest sin for it inflates our pride and draws us away from the grace of God.

(b) 

Practicing your righteousness. The religious Jews who lived under the old covenant were moral people who made a habit of giving to the poor, praying, and fasting (Matt. 6:2, 6, 16). These were good deeds done by good people, but ultimately it was their own righteousness they were cultivating.

In the new covenant, we are clothed with the righteousness that comes from God and is received by faith (Rom. 1:17, 3:22). It is our Father’s righteousness that makes us righteous and inspires us to do righteous deeds.

(c) Reward. Under the old covenant you were blessed if you did good and cursed if you didn’t. It was a carrot and stick arrangement where good deeds were done in the expectation of being rewarded or blessed by God.

(d) No reward with your Father. If you are self-righteous (you do good deeds to make yourself look good to others), don’t expect anything from God. You already have your reward (see next verse).

It is a mistake to upend this verse and conclude that God blesses us in accordance with our good deeds. “Do good, get good.” All the blessings of God are freely available to us on account of grace (Eph. 1:3). However, there are rewards given in accordance with our labor (see entry for 1 Cor. 3:14).

(e) Your Father; see entry for Matt. 5:16.

MATTHEW 6:2

“So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.

The self-righteous man justifies himself by trusting in his performance and by drawing attention to his good deeds. “I fast twice a week and give a tithe of all I get” (Luke 18:12). See entry for Self-righteousness.

MATTHEW 6:3

“But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,

Don’t trumpet your acts of charity in public but give quietly and without fuss.

MATTHEW 6:4

so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

(a) Your Father; see entry for Matt. 5:16.

(b) What is done in secret is done with no thought for self-recognition.

Jesus is contrasting two ways to live. We can live for ourselves always seeking to advance ourselves through self-reliance and self-promotion, or we can humbly submit to God, trusting in his care.

(c) Will reward you. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble (Jas. 4:6).

The Jews who heard Jesus utter these words expected to be blessed for their acts of charity, but in the new covenant we are blessed on account of his goodness, not ours (Eph. 1:3). All the blessings of heaven come by grace alone. So why give and do good works? Because those who have been apprehended by the grace of God become grace-givers themselves. They give and pray so that others might experience the blessing of God.
