Often these promises are used to prove the Israeli take over in 1948 was Gods will.
Yet when Jesus came He never mentioned promises for a literal plot limited to Egypt to Babylon. Jesus promised the whole earth to the meek and willing to follow Him. Matt 5 :5

Jesus Christ never mentions a literal plot on the earth but rather all the Earth.

SO the promise of the seed came to all the descendents of Abrahams Faith not descendents of his genetic shadow. We see Jesus confronting the believe that race was the key as He constantly confronted their false religious belief.

This it the nail in the coffin of Zionism and promises to a race of Jews. The promise to inherit the whole Earth is through being meek to Christ Jesus and accepting His Seed into our heart.
All the promises came to not millions of descents tracing their legal rights by genetics. All promises made to Israeal and all GODS PEOPLE came through one seed and that is Christ. He is not a seed of human nature or flesh. The seed of Christ is Eternal life and is a spiritual seed.

This promise was possible since the seed of Abraham was Christ and Christ was born into all those who believed in the Jesus of the Gospels. All races now could simply believe the good news become true Jews, the True Israel and Gods people.
Gen 17:5
Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
God was foreseeing the multitudes that would come from all races and All Gentiles, including the physical descendents of Abraham. Not limited to it.

And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
There is a reason that God used the singular « seed » and not « seeds » in his promise to Abraham. It was afterall only one seed …..the Promised seed of victory, who was CHRIST

Actually the teaching that the Jews must prove their lineage to take over (i meant inherit) Israel in 1948 puts the burden to prove they are really genetic descendents of Abraham.
