I am so glad we passed a wonderful time with our family on the holidays! I am so glad every day is a holy day with Christ.
Christmas and new years are so hypocritical to me now.
We make show love to all those by eating and buy lots of stuff. We only do it on certain days but forget about each other for the rest of the 365 days. Then after much over eating and drinking we make plans for the new year we will never be able to keep. Huh
I prefer to live love ever day the same and I am glad I only have to keep promises if I want to because He did for me.
(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, NOW is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
So what is this? Our slave masters that hold our credit cards determine when we can hava family time and then back to slaving for sin?
Now is every day and every day is salvation
So I my advice is be free to love ypur family (and that means the Human race) every day.
The Holy Spirit said by wayof Paul the aposle:
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
We really do not need an excuse to love do we?
Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.
Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.
AND.
It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.
AND>
For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.
I am not trying to be down on Christmas and if you want to call me a Grinch you are wrong. I want to celebrate “CHRIST” mas ever day more and more by loving my family as He did until that BIg Day when we will sit down to Christmas dinner with CHRIST.
